Construction:
The SANMAN capacitor elements are manufactured using MPP contains following procedure :
1.Testing of MPP.
The film taken for winding is measured for the various factors, viz. Micron, resistivity, tensile strength, heavy edge etc.
2. Winding:
The capacitor elements are wounded in air conditioned, dust free and humidity controlled winding machine on automatic winding machine. Exact tension using pneumatic control on winding machine.
3. Formation of electrodes.
Using 99.99 % pure zinc alloy wire on automatic spraying machine the end capacitor winding are contacted. The spray layer facilitates a high current load and ensures low inductance between the terminals and winding.
Capacitor elements are then thermally treated in an oven at 85 d c. Further these elements are tested under 750 V D.c. for short period for short clearing. Then these windings are forwarded for IS specified testing viz. Measuring of capacitance, LCR comparison, charge discharge test, H.V. testing, Tan Delta Measurement etc.
The capacitor elements are available in 5,6,7,8, and 10 micron M.P.P. Film :
